Power outages in Germany this winter is not expected, said the head of the German Federal Network Agency Klaus Müller. During a conversation with Bild, he stressed that currently gas the country’s storage facilities are more than ninety percent full.

“For all the risks of uncertainty, I don’t think anything will go wrong this winter,” Muller said.

He added that at the moment the country’s gas storage facilities are more than ninety percent full. According to forecasts, about half of this volume will be spent.

Muller added that over the entire past year, the federal republic used fourteen percent less blue fuel than in 2021. He called these results a significant achievement of people who economically consumed gas.
