Kuibyshevsky District Court in St. Petersburg replaced the historic front door with plywood. About it writes edition “Rise”.
The network expressed sarcasm about the chosen design and called her entrance to Narnia. However, the joint press service of the St. Petersburg courts explained that the structure is temporary – it will be removed when the original doors are restored.
“Absolutely legal and coordinated repair work, so that in the future it will be pleasant and beautiful for citizens to enter the court, looking at the restored historical doors. The work is expected to be completed by the end of this week. This did not affect the court’s work schedule in any way,” the organization said.
Previously, the authorities of the Moscow region town of Lobnya came up with an unusual excuse for a poorly maintained road. Pictures published online showed irregularities sloppily filled with concrete. According to local residents, the road looks “shabby” and demonstrates the workers’ attitude towards their duties. The authority said the repairs were “interim” and were carried out for safety reasons.
