Kishinev interested in purchasing gas on a common procurement platform European Union. This statement was made by the Prime Minister of Moldova Natalia Gavrilitsa. This was reported by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of the country.

Gavrilitsa stressed that access to this platform will enable Moldova to more effectively ensure its energy security.

“Despite the fact that we have been hit hard by higher prices and a reduction in the volume of natural gas supplied by Gazprom, we continue to look firmly towards the European future,” the Moldovan prime minister said.

Recently, Moldovan Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Spinu assured that the country is provided with gas stored in storage facilities in Romania and Ukraine until the end of winter. The politician noted that the leadership of Moldova daily purchases blue fuel from European countries, where energy prices have recently dropped sharply.
