Summed up competition for the provision of services for the provision of computing resources for the state unified cloud platform (GEOPState cloud) in order to host and ensure the functioning of information resources and information systems of the federal executive authorities of the Russian Federation (FOIV) and state non-budgetary funds, the winner was a subsidiary of Sberbank – Safe Information Zone LLC (Bizone).
The price of the contract is 1.35 billion rubles. The Contractor must provide resources for creating a computing infrastructure and data storage infrastructure (servers, data storage systems), provide information security tools and communication channels. The term of the contract is until December 31, 2023.
Angara Technologies Group also claimed to win the competition.

In October, the government approved the extension until December 31, 2024 of the period for conducting an experiment on the transfer of information systems and information resources of the federal executive authorities, the Central Election Commission, state non-budgetary funds and the public law company “Single customer in the field of construction” to the GEOP, as well as to ensure the federal executive authorities and state non-budgetary funds with workstations and software.
The experiment on the transfer of information systems to the “state cloud” started on August 30, 2019 and was supposed to be completed at the end of 2022 (it was originally supposed to be completed at the end of 2020). Now to experiment Rosvodresursy, Rosmolodezh, Rosobrnadzor, Rosprirodnadzor, Rossotrudnichestvo will also join.
In April, a government decree was signed according to which the GEOP will become part of the e-government infrastructure (EG). As stated in the government announcement, inclusion GEOP as part of the EP will allow “to build the work of government agencies without new purchases of computer equipment, which are limited in the current situation.”
