The British military would like to contact Moscow more often, including with Chief of the General Staff Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Valery Gerasimovsaid the head of the British Defense Staff, Admiral Tony Radakin.
According to Radakin, constant interaction with the Russian side will help to resolve a lot of problems.
“We have always said that we will keep in touch, but we will not disclose the details of what we are discussing,” the Chief of Defense of the British Armed Forces quotes the statement to the British press TASS. “I would like these contacts to be even more regular. I would like they have been amplified, even though these conversations can be difficult.”
The British admiral stressed that regular contacts with Moscow could be of maximum benefit to both sides and emphasized that London remains open to discuss the current political situation.
