From January 1, 2023, artists in Kyrgyzstan are required to sing only live, since the use of phonograms in performances is now officially prohibited. This was reported by Sputnik Kyrgyzstan.

The corresponding decision was made by the Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy Altynbek Maksutov. However, the ban does not apply to all performances, but to concerts in all state cultural and educational institutions.

In particular, we are talking about theaters, sports facilities, philharmonic societies, museums, libraries, and so on. The ban on the use of “plywood” also applies to public events. Maksutov himself will control the execution of the order.

Restrictions for artists were announced back in 2020. In 2021, singers were required to indicate on posters and tickets whether they will sing live. Then the minister was Nurzhigit Kadyrbekov, who said that “culture begins with honesty”, therefore he urged the artists not to deceive the audience.

Earlier it turned out that Sofia Rotaru had been deceiving listeners for 50 years and sang only to the soundtrack. More about it read in material Public news service.
