In the foothills Crimean peninsula air warmed up to 20 degrees heat. The absolute temperature record of 1937 was broken in Simferopol. This was reported by the local hydrometeorological center.

The maximum air temperature (at the weather station in Simferopol) was 19.3 degrees. Prior to this, the absolute maximum air temperature on December 17 was noted (documented) in Simferopol in 1937 – then the air warmed up to 17.8 degrees“, the department said.

It is also noted that on the southern coast of Crimea, the air warmed up to only 12-13 degrees. It is emphasized that the influence of the cooled sea affects.

It is interesting that in Belogorsk, Sevastopol and other places in the Simferopol region on Saturday a temperature jump of up to 20 degrees Celsius was noted.

The Hydrometeorological Center added that warm weather in Crimea would not last. A cold snap is expected in the republic from next week.

Previously Public News Service wrote that according to the data of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, in Samara region issued a yellow weather alert. A weather warning was issued due to increased wind gusts up to 15-18 meters per second and ice.
