Due to the high influenza incidence Rospotrebnadzor of the Rostov region approved a document with severe restrictive measures, reports rostovgazeta.ru.

According to the publication, in the past week alone, doctors diagnosed influenza in 30,000 residents of the region. As Rospotrebnadzor specialists explained, employees of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Labor of the Rostov Region will monitor the implementation of restrictions in medical institutions and social protection organizations.

From December 15, patients in Rostov hospitals will not be able to visit their relatives.

In addition, all medical personnel in the region have been required to wear masks at work. Rospotrebnadzor also demanded that school classes be sent to distance learning if more than 20 percent of children are ill in them.

Formerly doctor Tatyana Taradeeva stated that the patient may feel the first symptoms of swine flu a week after infection. She stressed that people with this infection often complain of coughing, fever, nasal congestion and pain in the sternum.
