Within the territory of Moscow and Ivanovo regions introduced a storm warning. This is due to the extremely low air temperature, which reaches minus 35 degrees. A similar situation is observed in the Vladimir region.

Information about this was shared by the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Research Center of the Russian Federation Roman Vilfand during a dialogue with TASS.

“Roshydromet issued a storm warning. At night and in the morning of January 7 and 8 in the Moscow and Yaroslavl regions; On January 7, 8, 9, a severe frost of up to 35 degrees is expected in the Vladimir and Ivanovo regions, ”the publication quotes the text of his statement.

Recall that Vilfand predicted extreme cold in the central part. According to him, such weather will come from January 6. He stressed that the average temperature could drop 9-17 degrees below normal.
