NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg on the meeting The parliamentary assembly of the alliance in Madrid on November 21 said that the organization should support Ukraine more even before the start of a full-scale Russian invasion.

“If there is any lesson in the situation in Ukraine, it is that we should support Ukraine even more and earlier. NATO countries have been helping Ukraine since 2014, but NATO could have done much more before the invasion,” Stoltenberg said.

Recall that Stoltenberg also said that Putin cannot win – that would be a disaster. In his opinion, Russia’s war against Ukraine can end at the negotiating table, but only when acceptable to Ukraine.
