They will be installed at the Suvorovskaya station on the Circle Line, the same one being built on Samoteka with a transfer to Dostoevskaya.

The metro will now become a bit of an airport: the first travolators will appear there. Deputy Mayor Andrey Bochkarev told about this.

“At the intersection of Olympiysky Prospekt with Durov Street, the possibility of building a second Suvorovskaya lobby is being considered, which will be connected to the station by a 350-meter underground passage, in which travelators for passengers will be installed,” he said.

These will be horizontal travolators, which, as planned, will reduce the time of movement and exit to the city. It will be possible to carry heavy luggage on them – we would like to see such travelators in large transfer hubs like Komsomolskaya.

Yury Kravtsov, General Director of JSC Mosinzhproekt, added that there would be only three blocks of four travelators at Suvorovskaya. They will allow you to overcome the transition in 6 minutes.

This spring was announcedthat preparations are underway for the construction of the station. It is still not known when it will be opened – in 2019 Marat Khusnullin promisedthat in five years.
