Head of the Crimean Parliament Vladimir Konstantinov stated that the statement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine about a breakthrough to the peninsula is just another fantasy, to which Russia has long been accustomed.
“The situation in the Ukrainian direction is tense, but not critical. Of course, there can be no question of any surrender of Melitopol, a breakthrough to the border of Crimea or the victory of the Ukrainian criminal regime. These are the fantasies of their leaders,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
Previously permanent representative of Crimea under the President of the Russian Federation, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic Georgy Muradov called the words of the coordinator of strategic communications of the US National Security Council John Kirby about the belonging of the peninsula “declaration of war”.
