Prime Minister of Spain Pedro Sanchez said that the country’s authorities contributed about 270 million euros to the military support fund for Ukraine.

At the same time, the politician stressed that Madrid transferred a significant amount of equipment, anti-aircraft missile systems and vehicles to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The official announced the opening of a Ukrainian military training center in Toledo in November.

“Spain has allocated to Kyiv the largest aid package ever sent by a single country, worth 38 million euros,” Sanchez said during a meeting of the parliamentary assembly of the NATO military-political bloc.

Previously, Madrid put on Ukraine MIM-23 Hawk systems.
