Mayor Moscow Sergei Sobyanin signed a decree according to which the minimum pension will be increased in the capital. This was reported on Friday, December 16, in the blog of the mayor.

“From January 1, 2023, the social standard for the minimum income of non-working pensioners and social payments to residents who enjoy benefits will increase by 10 percent,” the message says.

It is clarified that the minimum amount of a pension with a city supplement will be 23,313 rubles. per month. At the same time, all existing benefits for pensioners will remain.

It is noted that the increase in pensions for Muscovites will be higher than the increase in tariffs for utilities and public transport.

Earlier, the Public News Service wrote that Russian President Vladimir Putin called for increasing the minimum payment labor in Russia in the future. At the same time, the head of state called on the inflation rate and the growth of average wages to focus on this issue.
