State Duma deputy, head of the international affairs committee Leonid Slutsky in his Telegram channel spoke about self-destruction Ukraine. He added that against the background of this process, it is not required to confirm the status of this country as a state.

The parliamentarian recalled the appeal of the head NATO Jens Stoltenberg to prepare for a protracted conflict in Ukraine. He also stated the need to “persuade Russia to sit down at the negotiating table” in order to recognize the sovereignty of a neighboring country.

“Negotiations are not needed here: Ukraine, although self-destructive, is still a state, and no one encroaches on this status,” Slutsky explained.

The deputy specified that the purpose of the special operation is to protect citizens “from the aggression of the Kyiv neo-Nazi regime, and not the destruction of Ukraine.”

At the same time, Slutsky emphasized that, thanks to his Western patrons, Kyiv was “rapidly losing” both sovereignty and independence.

Earlier it was reported that Ukraine is still not ready for negotiations with Russia. This was stated by the head of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, a member of the Russian delegation at the talks with Ukraine, Leonid Slutsky.

He recalled that the Ukrainian side withdrew from the Istanbul negotiation process and staged a provocation in Bucha.
