In 2022, the Chelyabinsk region took another step towards the elimination of the second shift in schools.

Six schools were built in the Chelyabinsk region in 2022, bringing the transition of South Ural children to one-shift education closer. New schools appeared in Kunashak, Verkhneuralsk, Miass, the village of Western Sosnovsky District, Plast and Kopeysk. In total, twelve schools have been commissioned in the region since 2019, the regional Ministry of Education and Science reported. The department noted that in addition to schools in the region, active construction of preschool institutions, as well as institutions of additional education, was carried out. Last year, twelve kindergartens were opened in the villages of Zapadny and Kremenkul, as well as in Chelyabinsk. In Snezhinsk, Chelyabinsk, Magnitogorsk and Kyshtym, new centers for digital education of children “IT-cube” appeared, six centers for education of digital and humanitarian profiles “Point of Growth” were created. The opening ceremony of the new Quantorium took place in Zlatoust.

Formerly online edition “Teacher’s newspaper” reportedthat the long-awaited gift was received by the schoolchildren of the Magadan village for the New Year. Ministry of Education posted on its official website, a list of unscrupulous contractors who violated the deadlines for the overhaul of educational institutions. There are 20 companies on the list.
