Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, holder of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, Maria Shukshina, criticized Russian television for showing “low-grade fun” on the day of the tragic death in Makeevka of participants in a special military operation (SVO) in Ukraine.

In particular, actress expressed dissatisfaction with the “jokes” on Channel One. She called the broadcast of such shows on the day of the tragedy “the height of cynicism.”

“The height of cynicism, of course, is to broadcast low-grade fun on the day when the country is shocked by the events in Makiivka,” the celebrity wrote in her Telegram.

According to her, “First” once again “spit in the souls of people.” However, the Russians will not wait for an apology from the leadership of the TV channel, the star suggested.

“Pretending that nothing is happening, and, most importantly, no one sees or notices anything, and everything goes its own peaceful way, you are leading the country to degeneration,” the author of the post was indignant.

Earlier, the Public News Service reported that on January 3, a mourning rally was held in Samara in memory of the servicemen who died as a result of a missile attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the building Vocational school in Makeevka on New Year’s Eve.
