Sheremetyevo Airport recommended its passengers to arrive at the air harbor in advance due to deteriorating weather conditions. Moscow the airport recalled that precipitation in the form of snow and freezing rain is observed in the region. About it writes RIA Novosti.
The following information is provided: “In the current weather conditions, which, according to weather forecasts, will persist for the next day, due to possible difficulties on the roads, passengers are advised to arrive on flights in advance.”
As previously reported by the Public News Service, at Moscow’s Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Sheremetyevo airports, 70 flights. Among them, 45 flights – to Domodedovo.
Five flights have been delayed at Vnukovo Airport, and four more have been cancelled. 13 flights to Sheremetyevo were delayed and two cancelled.
The Federal Air Transport Agency reported that until December 15, the regime of temporary flight restrictions at 11 Russian airports will be extended. The ban applies to airports in Anapa, Belgorod and Bryansk, Gelendzhik, Voronezh, Krasnodar. Rostov-on-Don, Simferopol and Elista.
