The head of the regional head office of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation spoke about the work on preparing shelters in the MKD Sergey Poletykin.
“This is the decision of the operational headquarters. For our population, we have the simplest shelters in apartment buildings, shopping centers, which provide shelter for up to 15 million people,” the representative of the Ministry of Emergency Situations explained.
It is reported that shelters are equipped with seating, sockets for charging phones. Also in electrified shelters there will be supplies of drinking water.
It was decided not to hang signs on the shelters so as not to disturb the population.
