The head of the IMF, Kristalina Georgieva, made a statement that the states located in Europe will have to go through a difficult winter period without fuel supplies from the Russian Federation.

“Yes, a harsh winter is coming, and it is possible that the next one will be even harsher,” the CBS television and radio broadcasting network quotes the text of her statement.

Despite this fact, she noted that the powers that are part of the European Union after a certain time period will be able to reduce the level of dependence on fuel purchases from the Russian Federation.
