In the capital of Serbia, protesters set fire to the Kosovo flag. She told about it “Gazeta.Ru”.
It is specified that the demonstrators chanted the slogan “Kosovo is Serbia.” The rally participants protested against the infringement of the Serbs living in Kosovo and Metohija.
According to TASS, the action took place on Monday night. Demonstrators set fire to the Kosovo flag near the presidential palace. At the same time, the security forces did not interfere with the protesters. The protest passed without incident.
Recall that after the arrest of the Serbian ex-Kosovo police officer Dejan Pantic, barricades began to be erected in the north of Kosovo and Metohija. It is also known that sirens sounded in major cities of the region, and the Internet stopped working in its northern part.
Earlier, the Public News Service reported that the Kosovo Serbs addressed the authorities, voicing three requirements. They plan to achieve their execution by any means, in particular, on the barricades. One of the points is the demand to release all the arrested Serbs.
