Politicians who call for not paying attention to the Constitution of the Russian Federation should leave the country’s authorities. This was stated by the chairman of the Federation Council committee on constitutional legislation and state building Andrey Klishas in his Tekegram channel.
He urged his colleagues not to refuse to “play by the rules.” A little earlier, he harshly criticized the proposals of a number of politicians to confiscate property from Russians who left the country. Klishas recalled that, according to the law, only the instrument of crime or the income received from criminal activity can be confiscated.
“The confiscation of the property of citizens who left the country is out of the question,” said a member of the Federation Council.
According to Rosstat, as of September 5 (before the announcement of partial mobilization), 419 thousand people left the Russian Federation since the beginning of 2022 – twice as many as in the same period of 2021. 368 thousand people left for the CIS countries, and 294 thousand people returned.
