Oleksiy Danilov, head of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, says the conflict with Russia in Ukraine will culminate in February. He stated this in an interview with Ukrainian journalists.

According to the head of the National Security and Defense Council, the situation is expected to worsen by the anniversary of the start of the Russian special operation.

“February for them (the Russian army) will be decisive. Because dates are important to them, anniversaries and the like. They are preparing,” Danilov said in an interview with a local TV channel.

Danilov also said that pro-Russian Ukrainian politicians are negotiating with European colleagues on a peace treaty with the Russian Federation, but this option is rejected in Kyiv.
