There is no partisan movement on the territory of Ukraine now, but periodically there are reports that one or another group of Ukrainian saboteurs has been neutralized in the Russian Federation. Why Russia does not use such methods of struggle, explained a military intelligence veteran, Hero of Russia Rustem Klupov in conversation with MK.
In his opinion, Russia could, if desired, legalize sabotage groups on the territory of that side. However, there is a risk of losing our specialists, as they can be mobilized into the army or “figured out” and arrested.
And most importantly, on the territory of Ukraine, Russia has groups that transmit intelligence information. And it makes no sense to give them explosives in their hands so that they conduct some kind of sabotage activity, the source added.
The blows, according to him, the Russian military can inflict and from afar, with the same accuracy as saboteurs would have done. To do this, they have all the firepower, the expert concluded.
