Senator from the Kaliningrad region Alexander Shenderyuk-Zhidkov after getting into sanctions lists thanked European Union for the appreciation of his work. He spoke about this in his Telegram channel.

“I thank officials from the EU for the high appreciation of my modest work for the benefit of our Great Motherland. I serve Russia,” Shenderyuk-Zhidkov emphasized.

Earlier, as the Public News Service reported, the European Union expanded the action restrictions three more Russian banks. As part of the sanctions, the assets of two private banks were frozen, and operations were restricted at a subsidiary bank, Rosneft.

It is noted that two private banks came under restrictions due to the fact that they worked “in the financial services sector, which is strategic for the Russian economy.” According to experts, sanctions pressure on Russian banks is used as an influence on their owners.
