Istanbul and Yerevan have become the most popular foreign destinations for Russians for a solo holiday for the New Year. This is reported by Lenta.ru with reference to research by the travel planning service OneTwoTrip.
According to analysts, citizens Russia in the period from December 30, 2022 to January 8, 2023, they massively wanted to go on vacation alone. It is noted that 39% of such travelers choose domestic destinations, and 45% – abroad.
Many single tourists wanted to visit Yerevan, at the moment 14.8% of tickets per person have been purchased there. Following the capital of Armenia, Istanbul is popular – 7.5% of independent tourists will go there. The top three is closed by Bishkek (5%).
