Supporters of a healthy lifestyle often refuse fatty foods, which affects the condition of the skin, hair and vision, the nutritionist warned Natalia Denisova. In a conversation with, the doctor indicated Russians on the consequences of nutrient imbalances in the diet.

The doctor told me that there are actually bad fats. She included trans fats found in fast food, baked goods, nut butters, and bouillon cubes. They, according to Denisova, really need to be removed from the diet.

The amount of saturated fat found in red meat, eggs and dairy products should also be limited, the nutritionist continued. This measure, she explained, will reduce the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases. At the same time, due to complete refusal of them, health suffers: hormonal imbalances appear and skin conditions worsen.

Also, a lack of healthy fats leads to joint pain and a constant feeling of cold, Denisova warned. “Studies have proven that patients taking Omega-3 significantly reduced morning joint pain. If you are susceptible to the same disease, add seafood, olive oil and avocado to your diet,” the specialist recommended.

Also, as the doctor noted, the body compensates for the lack of fats with carbohydrates. A person unknowingly begins to eat more sweets and starchy foods, which causes excess weight.

In addition, according to Denisova, with a lack of fat, a person quickly gets tired. “Eat half an avocado and an omelet for breakfast instead of cereal and a croissant. Or a sandwich with butter. To keep your energy up throughout the day, add a handful of nuts to your snack,” she suggested.

In conclusion, the nutritionist noted that with a lack of fat, hair and vision suffer. “Fatty acids affect the production of the tear film, which protects and moisturizes the eyes. Add carrots, pumpkin, spinach, seafood and fatty fish to your diet,” she concluded.
