“One in five people have stopped adding sugar to their tea and coffee, and 17 percent are setting limits on the amount of sweet foods they eat daily. The main motivator for maintaining a healthy lifestyle in Russia there is a desire to strengthen the immune system and become more energetic. To achieve this, Russians go in for sports, have fasting days, and try intuitive eating,” the study says.
It also turned out that every tenth person strives to eat less meat, but does not exclude it from the diet. 34 percent of Russians consider fruits to be the most beneficial in their diet, 28 percent consider vegetables, and another 20 percent focus on foods with a high protein content.
“21 percent of respondents began to eat healthier. 7 percent switched to farm products, another seven began to cook at home more often,” the analysts found.
