The most popular hobbies among Russians in 2023 were fashion and beauty, cooking and gardening. Analysts came to these conclusions social network “Odnoklassniki” based on the activity of 22 million users in the Hobbies section. The results of the study are available to Lenta.ru.
The top five most popular hobbies also included crafts and pets.
Experts analyzed each of the groups and found out which topics interested social network users the most. Thus, users who are interested in cooking were more often interested in recipes for baking, appetizers and main courses. In turn, Odnoklassniki users who prefer handicrafts were interested in content about weaving, knitting, sewing, origami and decoupage. And the attention of pet lovers, in addition to cats and dogs, was attracted by birds, reptiles and fish.
The top ten most popular hobbies included cars and travel. The interest of car enthusiasts was more often attracted by topics of car brands, tuning, motorcycles, repair and maintenance. And travelers paid most attention to content dedicated to vacations in Asian countries and resorts. Europe turned out to be less interesting for Russians keen on tourism, and trips to their homeland took fourth place in terms of the number of views.
OK analysts emphasized that the hobbies of social network users change depending on the time of year. Thus, in the fall, the topic of cooking is the most popular; in the second half of the year, mysticism entered the top 10. There was also an increase in Russian interest in astrology, fortune telling, numerology and dream interpretation.
Previously “Odnoklassniki” spent research and found out whether Russians watch auto bloggers, whether they trust their opinions, and how content about cars is really useful. The survey involved 10 thousand people from all over Russia.
