Only 26 percent of respondents are interested in the dollar exchange rate, and 24 percent of respondents are interested in the euro exchange rate. Currency quotes are more often followed by men. The majority of respondents believe that at the beginning of 2024 the dollar exchange rate will rise to 103.46 rubles, and the value of the euro will rise to 112.75 rubles.

In summer, Russians showed interest in news about exchange rates increased 1.5 times. Every third out of ten respondents became actively interested in the exchange rate of the dollar and euro against the ruble. According to the Synergy University analytical center, more than 70 percent of citizens find out about all changes in the foreign exchange market from the news or from friends. About 22 percent of respondents monitor exchange rate changes no more than once a week, only eight percent do this daily.
