Russian police detained a driver with two kilograms of amphetamine


IN Moscow region police detained a 31-year-old native Yaroslavl region with two kilograms of amphetamine. The press service of the State Administration reported this to Lenta.ru Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia by region.

According to the department, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs stopped car sharing. The defendant was driving. The security forces noticed that he was very nervous and searched his personal belongings. When the driver got out of the car, he tried to run, but he was detained. A package containing a light-colored substance was found in the Russian’s bag.

During interrogation, the man said that he was taking the drug to Lyubertsy. Based on the incident, a case was opened under the article on attempted illegal production, sale or transfer of narcotic drugs. Now the detainee is in a pre-trial detention center.
