Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Gusev appreciated the information that Washington tried to interfere with the military Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) to attack the head of the General Staff of the RF Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov. MK writes about it.
According to him, such a step on the American side is part of their military strategy. Gusev is convinced that America does not want a tough confrontation with Russia. He also noted that USA expressed their readiness to supply weapons to Kyiv and make money on it, but it is not in their interests to “remove high-ranking officials in the RF Ministry of Defense.”
The academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences also stated that, if this had happened, it would certainly have led to serious consequences, up to the complete rupture of all ties between the superpowers.
According to the expert, America is now ready for a clash with the Russian Federation exclusively indirectly, that is, “by the hands of Ukrainians.”
As previously reported by the Public News Service, adviser to the office of the Ukrainian President Alexey Arestovich said that the fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine really made an attempt to destroy the head of the General Staff of the Russian Federation Valery Gerasimov.
