Russian Federation and Venezuela signed a contract to host a GLONASS station in the country. It is noted that the construction of the object will be carried out by a subsidiary of the Roscosmos Corporation. About it writes RIA Novosti.
The delegations of the two states also signed agreements on cooperation in the field of healthcare, information technology, maritime transport and customs regulation.
The document was signed by Yury Roy, Director General of Scientific and Production Corporation Precision Instrumentation Systems JSC, and Adolfo José Godoy Pernia, Head of the Bolivarian Agency for Space Activities.
As previously reported by the Public News Service, it became known that the Turkish multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) TRLG-230 can direct not only using the GPS navigation system, but also the Russian GLONASS.
This, in turn, poses an additional threat to the RF Armed Forces. The TRLG-230 complexes, according to the Turkish side, are guided using the GPS system.
