Rosstat sharply adjusted the trajectory of the decline in the gross domestic product of the Russian Federation in 2022 after seasonally smoothing. RBC writes about it.

It is noted that in the second quarter the economy fell by 5.2% compared to the first quarter, and not by 1.9%, but already in the third quarter it showed an increase. According to the publication, the recalculation made it clear that the technical recession was not noticed.

Recall that from November 29 to December 5, 2022, utility bills rose in price in the Russian Federation. The biggest increase in prices for electricity, their growth was 8.6 percent. This follows from the materials of Rosstat.

Previously, as the Public News Service reported, the growth social payments helped to reduce the number of poor citizens in the Russian Federation. In total, the number of payments from July to September this year reached 4.35 trillion rubles.
