According to bourgas.ru, the National Revenue Agency, NAP in Burgas collected about 23 million leva of social insurance contributions, which is 10% more than was collected until May 31, 2021. The largest growth is observed in income from corporate tax – 22%. In absolute terms, this is 6 million leva more.

Income from personal income tax is almost a million leva more. The total income of the territorial administration of the National Revenue Agency of Burgas for the first five months of the year is more than 449 million leva.

The Tax Office of the seaside city specifies that at the end of May, the central budget revenues amounted to 194 million leva, as the personal income tax is 76 million leva, the corporate tax is 32 million leva, and the corporate tax exceeds 68 million leva.

As of May 31, income from social insurance contributions exceeded 255 million leva, including more than 151 million leva for state social insurance, 70 million leva for health insurance contributions and 34 million leva for additional mandatory pension insurance.

The territorial director of the National Revenue Agency Burgas, Tatyana Kancheva, thanked the employees for the professionalism and good work and noted that the growth of voluntary declarations and payments from enterprises and citizens is a steady trend.

“Our efforts in this direction, we focus on active communication and partnership with citizens and companies. Where we do not find understanding, and this is happening less often, control mechanisms and enforcement measures for overdue debts come into force. Our big goal is to make the economy as bright as possible,” added Tatyana Kancheva.

On a national scale, in the first five months of the year, the income of the Revenue Agency exceeded 11.9 billion leva, which is 1.1 billion leva more compared to the same period last year.
