Released ex-minister Alexei Ulyukaev returned from prison to Moscow
Recall that Ulyukaev was detained in 2016, and in 2017 the court found him guilty of taking a bribe of $ 2 million from Rosneft and sentenced him to 8 years in a strict regime colony. But more than four years later, the court I decided to release him on parole: “When considering the petition, the court took into account the opinions of all participants in the process who did not object to the satisfaction of the stated petition. The court came to the conclusion that the purpose of punishment, fixed in Article 43, had been achieved. The request has been granted.”
And this morning, the former head of the Ministry of Economic Development left colony in Tver, from where his wife took him. And three hours later they got there to one of their apartments – the one located in the elite residential complex “Golden Keys 2” in the valley of the Ramenka River. It is in it that he will have to live until the end of the parole, since he cannot change his place of residence without the permission of the criminal correctional inspection.
In the apartment, Ulyukaev was expected to return by several people (apparently his relatives), and outside – by journalists, whose questions the ex-minister with a stone face ignores.
