RBC: How the problems of refugees from Ukraine in Russian regions have changed
The number of refugees who came to Russia from Ukraine seeking help decreased in 2023 compared to last year. The relevant information was shared in the RBC publication.
“Many issues are regulated by law. Legal education also bore fruit. People managed to understand many issues. Many acquired Russian citizenship. The main acute moments have been removed,” they shared with reporters in Voronezh.
However, it turned out that at the moment one of the most serious issues remains the calculation of pensions. The number of refugees with this problem has increased in 2023. According to the population, difficulties are associated with confirming work experience.
As an example, the material provides information that citizens who arrived in Russia from the LPR, DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions do not always have the opportunity to document their experience. This has an impact on the amount of pension they are paid. It is clarified that in order to solve this problem, interdepartmental commissions have already been created.
In addition, problems arise with the acquisition of housing certificates. For various reasons, refugees are rejected. It is also known that children who come to Russia face bullying at school.
Previously Public News Service reportedthat German politician Sarah Wagenknecht accused refugees from Ukraine of abusing the benefits they receive without living in Germany. At the same time, Wagenknecht emphasized that she does not generalize all refugees from Ukraine and understands the pain of those who were forced to leave their home country.
