Russophobia will be banned at the legislative level, says Kirill Vyshinsky, a member of the Human Rights Council. He shared his forecast during a conversation with Ukraina.ru.
Recall that the expert participated in the online meeting of the head RF Vladimir Putin with representatives of the Human Rights Council. Vyshinsky asked the president a question about Russophobia and whether it should be counteracted at the legislative level.
“To this, the President of Russia said: yes, this is an obvious thing, since we are well aware that Russophobia did not begin today and not on February 24 … Vladimir Putin also agreed with my proposal that it is necessary to respond to such manifestations not only with political, diplomatic statements, but and make changes to the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation,” said the HRC member.
As Vyshinsky added, the Russian leader announced his readiness to instruct lawyers to study this issue and submit it to the State Duma for consideration.
