The president Russia Vladimir Putin on Thursday, December 15, called for an increase in the minimum wage in Russia in the future.
At the same time, the head of state called on the inflation rate and the growth of average wages to focus on this issue.
“We need to continue to increase the minimum wage, and at a rate higher than inflation and the growth of average wages,” RIA Novosti quotes the words of the Russian president.
Recall that the State Duma of the Russian Federation on Wednesday, December 7, adopted a law establishing a minimum size wages in 2023. Next year, the minimum wage in Russia will be 16,242 rubles.
