Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the government to engage in the popularization of the heroes of Russian history and folklore, which would meet traditional values. In particular, use their images on souvenirs.
The national leader has repeatedly stressed that Russia will always adhere to traditional values, which are forgotten in a number of countries. Back in 2021, Putin said that the most reasonable course for Russia was moderate conservatism.
“The government of the Russian Federation should take measures aimed at popularizing the heroes of Russian history and folklore that meet traditional values, including the use of images of these heroes in the production of fine, printed, souvenir and other replicated products and consumer goods,” the president’s order says.
Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin was appointed responsible. The due date is May 15, 2023.
Earlier, the Public News Service reported that Putin ordered the development of programs universities of the course on the history of religions of the Russian Federation.
