Acting Head DPR Denis Pushilin told Telegram that together with First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Sergei Kiriyenko, on Christmas Eve, they lit candles in memory of the dead Russian military in Makeevka.

“One of the servicemen wounded on New Year’s Eve in Makiivka asked on his behalf to put candles in the temple and commemorate his fallen comrades,” he wrote.

“Today, on Christmas Eve, with Sergei Kiriyenko we visited St. George’s Cathedral in Makeevka and complied with this request.”

Recall that in Makiivka on New Year’s Eve, according to the information of the Russian Ministry of Defense, 89 Russian soldiers were killed due to the impact of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
