Military Evgeny Gots The Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that he was taken prisoner after being wounded, without waiting for help from his colleagues. He spent three days in a forest belt, after which he was found by soldiers of the RF Armed Forces.
“On August 21, they arrived near Zaitsevo and on August 21 they fired at us. I lay there in landing until August 24. On August 24, an evacuation group of LNR soldiers found me and took me to their evacuation point. So I was captured. <...> When I was lying there in the landing from August 21 to 24, I called both my colleagues and Sergeant Maxim. The military man noted that he was mobilized on April 7 from his place of work. The next day, he was sent to a training center in Starychi, Lviv region. The fighters received knowledge in military affairs and tactical medicine.
Together with 20 mobilized Gotz got into the group. Three colleagues died at the front on the first day under shelling.
