Russian writer Zakhar Prilepin condemned Channel One for broadcasting a program with “vulgar” anecdotes against the backdrop of the death of the Russian military in Makeevka. The corresponding post appeared in his Telegram channel.
“Jokes! On nationwide broadcast. It’s about time, isn’t it? Replacing the program about “Own”, well, yes, ”wrote Zakhar Prilepin.
The writer called on Channel One to remove the program from television and apologize for the “disgusting and vulgar” jokeswhich were out of place on a tragic day for the country.
Earlier, Acting Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin praised heroism Russian military rescued comrades from the ruins in Makiivka. Most of those who managed to get out immediately rushed to save their comrades, risking their lives. It is noted that after the arrival of the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the fighters of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continued to help their colleagues. Pushilin reported that some of those who returned to the building died.
