The star of the final match was Strahinja Stojačič, who scored fourteen points and decided the duel with the last basket. The Olympic winners from Latvia, who were eliminated in the quarterfinals, also played in Prague.

In the decisive match for advancement, Ostrava was not enough against Tel Aviv, losing 13:20. “We got a bit thrown off by the opponent’s game. We didn’t want to be influenced by that, so that Tel Aviv wouldn’t dictate our pace, but unfortunately it happened. They got into our heads, then we couldn’t hit even easy shots, we were frustrated and mistakes flowed from that,” said Dominik Žák on the association’s website.
