The Sport Classic edition of the 911, a bite of the Heritage Design program, is a reminder limited edition of only 1250 pieces produced. The last time such a version appeared in the menu was at the time of the 997 generation, when he was inspired by the iconic 911 2.7 RS and outlined what the GTS, which was not available at the time, would look like.
The first generation of the Sport Classic then launched a series of commemorative and retro versions of the 911, which quickly gained popularity, and this is an interesting GT3 Touring, especially the 911 R and Speedster. In addition to the characteristic retro-style design elements, the Porsche 911 Sport Classic brought you performance and technical rights, which were always matched by the price, taking into account, of course, the exclusive character of the car and the limited number of pieces produced.
Even this time, Porsche is not ashamed of having a package of Sport Classic, specifically 272,714 euros, ie about 6.5 million crowns. Is it worth 911? Only this is not an ordinary 911, or this time the Sport Classic made its way to the full version of the Turbo. At the rear, there is a flat capacity of 3.7 liters with two turbochargers, which is reduced to 550 hp and 599 Nm (standard Turbo m 580 hp and 750 Nm, Turbo S even 650 hp and 800 Nm).
Why should Porsche pay a few million for a mountain car? That’s the magic first. This is a long-term 911 Turbo with a shifted gearbox and the main rear-wheel drive. At the same time, it is the most powerful 911 with a manual transmission in the current Porsche range. Of course, it has the function of independent intermediate gases (if you are able to learn them on your own) and in the stock there is an otherwise paid sports exhaust with a more striking sound. For technical reasons, it is necessary to change the standard supplied PASM chassis, which is reduced by 10 mm.
The nice bonus is 70 kg less weight compared to the standard 911 Turbo. Then there are changes only cosmetically. There is a new Fashion Gray color on the body, which is based on the color once used on the Porsche 356, but the car can have any color that the customer wants. There will also be strips through the hood, roof and rear spoiler. This one is also new and again it is a sharper of the traditional duck tail as in the 911 2.7 RS. There are even two bump bouts on the stee. Most of these elements will also find their way to the original tuning accessories, and you will also be able to order a rear spoiler for your regular 911.
Inside you will find new seats with a characteristic color design of allounn in the style of the 50’s and 60’s, but even here there are no limits to what the customer asks. You can now order the Porsche 911 Sport Classic, the first cars to the customer’s stop in July.
