At a meeting of the Security Council United Nations Dmitry Polyansky, the first deputy representative of Russia, warned the West that he would not be able to blame Moscow for the fall of weapons from Ukraine into the hands of terrorists. About it writes RIA Novosti.
Polyansky pointed out that Europe no longer sees a different picture of the world, except for the one where Russia is always to blame for everything. However, this time such a “number will not work.”
He said that in the current situation, Western countries will not be able to blame Russia that “Ukrainian punishers” killed and still kill civilians from foreign weapons. The diplomat stressed that they would also not be able to shift the blame to Moscow for the fact that “due to the rampant corruption of Ukrainian, European and American officials, weapons from Ukraine end up in the hands of international terrorists.”
In conclusion, Polyansky added that the weapons of the punishers not only contribute to the aggravation of the conflict in Ukraine, but also incite hatred in other countries where civilians are killed. The Russian diplomat later noted that in response to his words, Western colleagues did not “squeeze out a word” in their defense and did not try to refute his words.
As the Public News Service reported earlier, the Russian Federation requested a meeting of the UN Security Council for December 9 in connection with military assistance to Ukraine from the West. This is known from the social networks of the first deputy head of the Russian mission to the UN Dmitry Polyansky.
