Polyansky: International cooperation is needed to resolve the crisis in Gaza

First Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Dmitry Polyansky named the main condition for resolving the crisis in the Gaza Strip. RIA Novosti reports this.

According to him, this requires international cooperation.

“We believe that the cooperation of the international community is in any case necessary for any steps within the framework of the Palestinian-Israeli settlement,” he noted.

And he added that two states living in peace with each other within the 1967 borders is the only way to avoid problems.

Let us recall that on October 7, Israel was subjected to a rocket attack from the Gaza Strip as part of an operation announced by the military wing of the Palestinian Hamas movement. After the attack, Tel Aviv began launching air strikes against targets, including civilians, in the sector.
