Chances of resuming visa issuance USA in Moscow are very small. This was stated by the director of the Roosevelt Foundation for the Study of the United States of Moscow State University Yuri Rogulev, writes “Lenta.ru”.
Recall, before the new ambassador of America in RF Lynn Tracy said she would work to resume issuing visas in the Russian capital. In particular, it will expand the staff of the US embassy so that the diplomatic mission can once again perform its main functions.
“The issuance of American visas to Russians, of course, does not depend on the ambassador. This is a matter of big politics and agreements. The chances of resuming extradition are small, ”the expert noted.
According to him, the suspension of visas was a deliberate political move on the part of Washington. Now Russians have to turn to third countries to get American visas through them. “This is not only associated with costs, it is also not always convenient and successful,” he is convinced.
Interestingly, the Russian embassy did not stop issuing visas for Americans.
Earlier it was reported that Moscow could allegedly offer Kyiv a “Korean” version of the conflict settlement. More about it read in material Public news service.
