Political scientist of the International Institute for Humanitarian and Political Studies Vladimir Bruter named a country that could become an ally Russia. It is reported by Ura.Ru.

According to him, Moscow should bet on relations with Indonesia, as it has a large human resource and is neutral in the international situation.

“Indonesia is currently the fourth largest country in the world in terms of population. Relations with Indonesia, for example, should have been a privileged topic for Russia for a long time,” he said.

“We recently saw the statement of the Indonesian ambassador that Indonesia is considering the option of joining the BRICS. I think that BRICS as a format is very interesting for such countries as Iran, Argentina, Indonesia, because it allows establishing priority relations with China.”

Earlier, the Public News Service wrote that the Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations for Humanitarian Affairs, Martin Griffiths expressed his opinion on the decision of Russia to declare a regime of silence for Christmas.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky declared about waiting for the start of negotiations on the country’s accession to the European Union. It is noted that he did this after holding online talks with Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson.
