Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said that his statement about the permissibility of the death penalty is a “personal opinion”. About it writes RIA Novosti.
Recall that Morawiecki said that in cases of especially serious criminal acts, the use of the death penalty can become an appropriate type punishment. He noted that this type of punishment was banned too early in the state.
“It is my personal opinion that if we are dealing, for example, with a serial killer, where the evidence leaves no doubt, or with a war criminal, we should also allow the death penalty,” he explained.
Earlier, Nikolai Mezhevich, as part of the dialogue, assessed Warsaw’s plans to arrange exercises with more than 200 thousand people. According to him, the reservists have already received the news, because of which 70,000 people left the country. The specialist believes that Poland is afraid of its neighbors.
